Wisetwiso is a Thai fine dining restaurant rooted in Thai culinary heritage. Founded in 2025, the restaurant aims to elevate Thai cuisine to the global fine dining stage while preserving identity and authenticity.
The name “Wisetwiso” reflects this vision. “Wiset” referred to royal court cooks who prepared food in the palace. “Wiso” means beauty. The name represents precision, elegance, and the cultural depth of traditional Thai cuisine.

Behind Wisetwiso is Chef Chakkrapoom Bunyagama, a Thai cuisine specialist known for redefining Thai fine dining. He received the Thai Fine Dining Award from the Tourism Authority of Thailand at Chef Fest Thailand. He competed on Top Chef Thailand Season Two and later served as a judge on leading culinary programs. Raised in a family with royal culinary roots, he learned traditional techniques from his grandmother, who once cooked in the palace. This background shaped his respect for authenticity, precision, and discipline.

His journey began in his family garden, cultivated since his great-grandfather’s era and filled with native Thai produce. He studied the arts and expanded his agricultural knowledge in Okinawa, Japan. Work as an advisor to organic farms strengthened his understanding of sustainable sourcing and ingredient-driven cuisine. Before founding Wisetwiso, he traveled across Thailand, learning from farmers, fishermen, and long-established local eateries, deepening his knowledge of regional ingredients and traditional methods.
